Don’t miss out on our first ever in-town mission trip. We will be working with Safehouse Outreach (www.safehouseoutreach.org) to care for people who are homeless in Atlanta. During the trip you can expect to:
· Serve meals to people who are homeless
· Distribute clean clothes and socks
· Spend a day doing construction for a church or home in need of repair
· Run a VBS type night for children
· Hike Stone Mountain and pray for the city
· Visit the MLK Center
· Create meaningful relationships with people in need
We will be staying on the Safehouse campus Monday-Friday. They will provide all our meals and lodging. Friday night we will stay in a hotel downtown to debrief and recoup from the week. Then to end the week, on Saturday we are heading to Six Flags and returning home that night.
To sign up, simply fill out the application below. You will be contacted by mid-March with an acceptance of your application and more information. The trip will cost approximately $400 per student. For students who will need help raising these funds, we will have several fundraising opportunities available. Expect to attend 3-4 team meetings prior to the trip.
